The Daily seyi
After graduating from college in 2012, I had a lot of spare time in between applying for jobs. After much thought, I decided to finally share my outfits with the world, and In Fashion I Trust was born. I would have my sister use our family's point and shoot to snap photos of my outfits right outside of our house and immediately upload to the blog. I enjoyed sharing where I got my outfits from with my friends and family and their support pushed me to continue on.
In November 2017, I knew that there was so much more I wanted to share with the world than just fashion, and The Daily Seyi was formed. TDS is now a platform to share my life with the world. It is a place for me to divulge my sincerest thoughts on style, beauty, life, and all things in between. After experiencing a personal tragedy in 2016, I chose to share my grieving process with my readers, intertwining vulnerability with practicality. This transparency has allowed me to dive deeper into producing content that speaks to me and others.
Born in Nigeria, at a very young age, my family immigrated to California, which I call home until this day. I hold a Bachelors of Arts degree in Economics/Admin Studies and a Masters of Business Administration degree focused on Marketing and Entrepreneurship. Despite how outgoing I may seem on my blog or social media, I am quite the homebody. I am introvert all the way through (ISFJ) so I love keeping to myself. It helps me refocus. But my family and friends mean everything to me and I love cultivating my relationships; both business and personal.
